American or British accent

Firstly, I want to tell how I make a choice. I made a plenty of researches and I tried both on myself. I also find out differences and similarities and even more interesting is that I find out that sometimes our choices depend on our characters.

Now, I am going to write about both the differences and similarities of these two accents, and then you choose which one you want and I believe that you can find out the answer to the question “which one”.
So, let’s start with similarities:
1. Both Americans and British use same words in most cases, of course, there are exceptions.
2. The roots of these languages are the same.
3. Both of them are English.

1. American English is easier than British and it’s easy to speak and learn the American accent.
2. Americans love using the letter “r”. For example:
Americans say: better [betər]
British say: better [betə]
3. Americans tend to use rising intonation at that time when British use high falling intonation.
I think that it’s interesting for you to know which one I use. So, it’s American English because this one is for me. If you read this information carefully and understand it, you also can choose one for yourself. Of course, there are also accents like Australian or Canadian but I decided to write about two most common ones.
